CBSA - Canada Border Services - NEW PROCESS
The CBSA has changed their process and are no longer using the Border Services Officer Test (BSOT). The new process and testing involves cognitive and written skills assessment using the Written Communication Proficiency Test (WCPT) and the General Competency Test Level 1 & 2 (GCT 1 & 2).
You can find out more information on the process directly from CBSA here.
WCPT - Written Communication Proficiency Test
The Written Communication Proficiency Test is an evaluation tool to assess your reading and writing skills. The minimum pass score on the exam is 18, but Federal Corrections may consider applicants with stronger marks first. For more information on these tests and to practice them, click the link below.
GCT - General Competency Test (Levels 1 & 2)
The General Competency Test is an evaluation tool designed to assess your cognitive skills. We recommend you work through our practice exercises for both the GCT 1 & 2 for as much practice as possible. For more information on these tests and to practice them, click the link below.
