What Our Candidates Say

"I studied with PolicePrep for 6 weeks before my SIGMA test. The practice exams were almost identical to the real thing — especially the written section. Passed on my first attempt and I’m now in the recruitment process with Regina Police."

Kayla
Regina, Saskatchewan

"The timed practice exams were a game changer. I hadn’t written anything like this since high school, and being able to drill both sections back to back really built my speed. Scored competitively on the SIGMA and moved forward in the process."

Ryan
Saskatoon, Saskatchewan

"My college instructor recommended PolicePrep, and I’m glad I listened. Being able to take the practice tests over and over until I felt confident made all the difference."

Melissa
Prince Albert, Saskatchewan

Yes — wrong answers are penalized, but questions left blank are simply unscored. If you’re not confident in an answer, it’s better to leave it blank than guess. Our practice tests are designed to help you build the speed and accuracy needed to confidently answer as many questions as possible within the 35-minute limit.
All major Saskatchewan municipal police services use the SIGMA, including Saskatoon, Regina, Prince Albert, Moose Jaw, Weyburn, and Estevan. Under the Saskatchewan Police Act, your SIGMA score is portable — a result obtained at one service is recognized across all SK municipal services. You prepare once and your score opens doors province-wide.
Yes — the SIGMA (Sigma Survey for Police Officers) is the same assessment used by the OACP in Ontario. Both tests share the same two-section format: Section A (Incident Report Writing Aptitude) and Section B (Police Problem Solving). If you’re also considering Ontario police services, your Saskatchewan preparation applies directly. Your account also includes bonus access to Ontario (OACP) practice materials.
Saskatoon Police Service requires a minimum score of 57%. Regina Police Service does not publish a passing score — your results are provided to the service as part of your overall recruitment assessment. If you don’t pass, a rewrite is available after 60 days. A second rewrite is available after a further 6 months. At Saskatoon, additional attempts beyond that require authorization from the Saskatchewan Police Commission. This makes strong preparation important the first time.
Yes. After the timed exam, candidates typically complete a personality assessment as part of the same testing session. It is not pass/fail — results are provided to the police service you’re applying to as part of the overall recruitment picture. There are no right or wrong answers. Our program focuses on preparing you for the written portion, but knowing what to expect means no surprises on test day.
Yes. We continuously work with Police Services and colleges across Saskatchewan to keep our content current. Our practice exams reflect the current SIGMA test format used by Regina and Saskatoon Police Services, including Section A (Incident Report Writing Aptitude) and Section B (Police Problem Solving).
Yes. Our platform works on any device with a web browser including phones, tablets, laptops, and desktops. Study during your commute, on lunch breaks, or whenever you have a few minutes. Your progress is saved automatically across devices.
Your Saskatchewan program includes bonus access to practice tests for the RCMP, Alberta (APCAT), Ontario (OACP), and British Columbia (JIBC) at no extra cost. If you're applying to multiple forces across Canada, you're covered with a single account.
